Well up to this point I thought as an artist I could avoid moving into the 3d realm and stick with 2d; which I thought at the time, much more fun. Now, I think of all the different possibilities that are available in 3d and wonder why I didn't go for it earlier. Thus, I'm starting to learn it on my own. Going back to school to learn a skill seems like a waste of time at the moment. At this point, going back for another bachelor's degree is not needed I say.

The program is hellishly complex and in depth (Maya) and 3d gains healthy respect from me to all its artists.
